The Dillsburg Karate Academy teaches Isshinryu Karate and is known for using traditional Okinawan techniques and methods for learning this style. Our school is also known and well-regarded in central Pennsylvania for our Kid's Program. In all of our classes and programs, we stress respect and discipline along with gaining knowledge and improving physical ability. The school participates in many local competitions, demonstrations and other events and is highly regarded for the discipline and respect that our students demonstrate. Congratulations to Jason as he has passed his test and reached this milestone! PROMOTIONS: Congratulations to all who tested during the May testing period. Grandmaster George Iberl has announced that due to unforseen circumstances, the OIKKA Hall of Fame Banquet and Tournament has been postponed indefinitely. More information will be released at a later date. PROMOTION: On June 22, 2009, Master Vasquez promoted Jonathan Whitesell to the rank of Ni-Dan. Congratulations to Jonathan - he did an excellent job, passed his test, and attained his new rank. Well Done!
