The Dillsburg Karate Academy teaches Isshinryu Karate and is known for using traditional Okinawan techniques and methods for learning this style. Our school is also known and well-regarded in central Pennsylvania for our Kid's Program. In all of our classes and programs, we stress respect and discipline along with gaining knowledge and improving physical ability. The school participates in many local competitions, demonstrations and other events and is highly regarded for the discipline and respect that our students demonstrate.

TOURNAMENT ANNOUNCEMENT - The Sensei are encouraging our students to attend the Don Bohan/Rick Niemira Memorial Martial Arts Championship. The Seminars are on 6/27 and the tournament is on 6/28. You MUST pre-register to attend this event. You preregister by clicking on the TOURNAMENT WEBSITE and registering there. Please, also let one of the Sensei know if you are planning to attend. Master Vasquez and Sensei Miller will be in attendance.

SELF DEFENSE CLASS - Sensei Miller will be teaching a Self Defense Class on Tuesdays from 6:30pm to 8:00pm begining on April 8 and ending on May 13. The cost for this class is $50. For more information, please see Sensei Miller. You need to complete and send in an enrollment form, which can be found on the www.northernyork.org website.

UPCOMING TESTS - Senior Brown Alicia Kramer will be testing for her Sho-Dan on May 9. Mr. Joseph Bennett will be testing for his Ni-Dan on May 10. Please join us in wishing them luck as they progress on their journey.

RANK TESTING ANNOUNCEMENT: Master Vasquez has announced that the rank testing for the Regular Class that was scheduled for May 5, 7, and 8 will be rescheduled to:

White and green belt ranks on 5/12, 14 and 15
