Mr. Stephens was born in 1958 and is an Accountant for the Rhodes Development Group in Lemoyne, PA. Mr. Stephens has been studying Isshinryu since May of 1998 and received his Ni-Dan on August 21, 2006 and his Sho-Dan rank on July 12, 2004. Mark states that he likes Isshinryu because of the discipline, the focus, the workout, and being able to spend time with his son Alex.
Mr. Stephens has studied Isshinryu with Sensei John Banks and Sensei Robert Smith in Summerdale. Mr. Stephens joined our Dojo in February 2002. Mr. Stephens says, "Karate is a great overall lifestyle that encompasses mind, body, and spirit." He goes on to say that the "Dillsburg Karate Academy is a family-oriented school decidated to letting each student live up to his/her potential."
