Ms. Kane was born in 1986 and currently enrolled at Harrisburg Community College pursuing a career in nursing. Ms. Kane is married to Mr. Patrick Kane and has been studying Isshinryu since May of 2001. She received her Sho-Dan on January 14, 2004 and received her current rank (Ni-Dan) in January of 2006. Previously, she studied at the Dubbs Karate Academy.
Ms. Kane says Isshinryu is good style for all ages and is a very effective style. Ms. Kane also feels that at the Dillsburg Karate Academy, the students and instructors are "wonderful" and that it does a good job of holding on the traditions of Isshinryu.
