Abigail Barnett won first place in the Patriotism Essay Contest wth the Dillsburg American Legion. Abigail donated her winnings back to the Legion to be used for the deployed troops in Iraq.

The prize money went to the 28th Infrantry Division out of Harrisburg. Abigail also collected letters and donations for the troops that were presented to a unit representative. Abigail received a certificate of appreciation from the organization and her essay has been sent for inspiration to the 28th Infrantry Division who are serving in the green zone in Baghdad.

We at the Dojo are proud of Abigail in her winning the contest and her willingness to support our troops!
